After she was found cold, dirty and afraid on the streets of Racine, 7-year-old Magic understandably takes a little while to warm up to people. Once she does, though, she’s an affectionate girl who loves to snuggle.
Magic is a miniature poodle who needs a patient family willing to allow her the time she needs to feel comfortable, who can deal with her touch sensitivity and shyness.
Wisconsin Humane Society staff at the Mount Pleasant campus chose Magic as their “pet pick” because of how affectionate she is once she gets to know people. She also enjoys “organizing” her toys and treats on her bed.
