Kittens at HOPE Safehouse can be hilariously rambunctious, and Opel is no different. She is one of three kittens in residence the volunteers call “the flying monkies.”

“She has lots of energy and is all over the place. She’s bouncy!” HOPE tells Racine County Eye.

Opel is a 9-month-old domestic short hair who is a little shy around new people but quickly warms up. If you think you could be Opel’s furever family, call HOPE Safehouse at (262) 634-4571, email them at hopesafehouse@gmail.com or visit www.hopesafehouse.org.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education.
