Papi hasn’t had an easy go of it, but he’s proving to be a pretty pawfect companion with the staffers at the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Described as a Rottweiler mix, Papi is a 2-year-old pup who loves to play with his toys. He was chosen as a Staff Pick by WHS staffer Carolyn because of his playful personality, keen intelligence and ability to master new tricks.
“Papi not only has stunningly handsome good looks, but an awesome personality as well,” WHS spokesperson Angela Speed said. “Carolyn chose him as her staff pick because she loves how silly he gets when he plays with his toys. He is also highly intelligent and loves to learn new tricks.”
Because Papi was uncomfortable around younger children at his previous home, he would be better off with a furever family with polite older children or all adults.
“He has been through quite a lot and can’t wait to get to his forever home!” Speed added.
Papi’s adoption fee is $209 and includes an implanted 24PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service as well as 30 days of pre-paid pet health insurance. Call the Racine campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society at (262) 554-6699 to schedule an appointment to meet Papi.
