The search for a missing woman — who was last seen walking through a field about a half mile from her home near Shoen Road and Highway 75 near Dover — will resume on Monday.

Lynn Rickard, 59, has a mental illness and is dependent on oxygen. She was last seen June 25. Now law enforcement officials from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department believe their chances of finding her are better because the fall season is here, according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said that “due to the time of year, foliage is reduced, crops have been cultivated, and
visibility is greater. The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to bringing closure to the family of Lynn Rickard”.

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office and Kansasville Fire Department will continue searching for Lynn Rickard in the Kansasville area at about 11 a.m.

A massive search was conducted a few days after her disappearance and then again in July. Those searches involved law enforcement and fire officials from as far as Dousman, Menominee Falls, Fontana, Whitewater and the City of Delevan. But they was unsuccessful,
