PLEASANT PRAIRIE – A new mixed-use development was announced just east of the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlet mall.
The Business Times reported Monday that the 16-acre development, Breeze Terrace, will feature more than 200 apartment units, along with restaurants and retail stores.
No businesses have been named yet for the two 4,000 square foot restaurants or the 9,000 square foot retail space on the development, but site work is slated to start in the summer.
John Heller, a partner of Interstate Partners, said in his submitted plans that the idea for the project was spurred by “several economic development projects recently announced” in the area, a nod to Foxconn.
The Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission is currently reviewing plans for the development.
