Sunday is Mom’s Day at the Racine Zoo. To celebrate all the great things mom does, Racine Zoo will be free for moms on Sunday. “It’s a great way to thank Mom for all she does for us (even the stuff she really doesn’t want to do!),” the event page on Facebook reads. Racine Zoo, 2131 Main Street, is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission for moms will be free; $8 adults; $7 seniors age 62+; $6 children 15 and younger. All visitors get $1 off admission with a valid ID proving Racine County residency.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund. https://business.facebook.com/donate/1846323118855149/3262802717172659/
