A 66-year-old Caledonia man  has died following a motorcycle crash involving a sport utility vehicle that happened at 2:26 p.m. Saturday, June 6 in the 4200 block of Lighthouse Drive in Wind Point.

The name of the man riding the motorcycle has not been released pending notification of family members, according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials with RCSD and Wisconsin State Patrol are still investigating the crash. There was no information given about how the crash happened, just that a 79-year-old man was driving the SUV and an 18-year-old woman was a passenger in the SUV at the time of the crash. No one in the SUV was injured in the crash.

However, the man riding the motorcycle suffered serious injuries. After being taken to Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital, the man died. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
