Mount Pleasant police are searching for the suspect depicted in the attached photos. He is accused of robbing the Community State Bank Tuesday at gunpoint.

According to a press release from MPPD Lt. Scott Geyer, the man walked into the bank, 8930 Washington Avenue, at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and implied he had a weapon when he demanded money from the teller.

The suspect did not display a gun, and no one was injured. He is described as a black male with a thin build. He was wearing a light-colored hat, glasses and a black t-shirt.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, and police are actively investigating the incident.
