Tuesday is National Pancake Day, and IHOP on Durand Avenue is celebrating with a free stack of pancakes and reaching a goal of $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

IHOP has been participating in National Pancake Day since 2005 and has raised $16 million for the hospital network for children’s illness research and care.

In exchange for the free flapjacks, IHOP is hoping diners will leave a donation for the Network Hospitals to help the restaurant chain reach its 2015 goal of $3.5 million.

IHOP Racine is located at 5800 Durand Avenue, in front of Regency Mall. Diners can participate in National Pancake Day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
