The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect until noon today, March 7, 2022.
The Winter Weather advisory affects Racine, Kenosha, Marquette, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Sauk, Columbia, Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Iowa, Dane, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Lafayette, Green, Rock, Walworth, and the surrounding areas among east-central, south-central and southeast Wisconsin.
This includes the cities of Racine, Kenosha, Montello, Westfield, Oxford, Neshkoro, Endeavor, Berlin, Princeton, Markesan, Fond Du Lac, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove, Oostburg, Baraboo, Reedsburg, Prairie Du Sac, Sauk City, Portage, Columbus, Lake Wisconsin, Lodi, Beaver Dam, Waupun, Mayville, West Bend, Germantown, Hartford, Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton, Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Barneveld, Madison, Watertown, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Waukesha, Brookfield, New Berlin, Menomonee Falls, Muskego, Milwaukee, Darlington, Shullsburg, Benton, Belmont, Argyle, Blanchardville, Monroe, Brodhead, Janesville, Beloit, Whitewater, Delavan, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, and East Troy.
Winter Weather: What to Expect
The National Weather Service has predicted snow accumulations of up to 2 to 4 inches. The highest snowfall totals will impact a range of areas. This includes an area from Dodgeville and Darlington to Sheboygan and Milwaukee.
Driving Conditions
The accumulating snow will continue through this morning and into the afternoon. This winter weather will impact the roads and driving. The morning commute may be delayed due to accidents. Due to these weather conditions, visibility could be reduced. Roads will be slippery.
