Aaron L. Lundquist, 34, passed away on Friday March 11, 2016 as the result of a tragic car accident.  Aaron was born in Racine on March 3, 1982, son of Eric and Louise (nee: Spang) Lundquist.

He had been employed with Cree Inc. for the past nine months. A talented artist, Aaron worked in many different mediums, but especially enjoyed working with clay. He also expressed himself well through poetry and was published. An outgoing individual with a vibrant personality, Aaron loved life and people.

He will be dearly missed by his son, Elijah; his father, Eric (Carol) Lundquist of Necedah; siblings, John (Meegan) Lundquist, Joe Lundquist, Shane (Melissa) Shaw, Marc Spang, and Anna Garcia; his girlfriend, Kara Olson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Garcia and his grandparents.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family 4 to 6 p.m. March 23 at Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home, 803 Main St. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. March 23 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Racine Arts Council have been suggested.  Private interment will be held.
