She will be remembered for her powerful spirit, giant smile, and vivacious laugh. She loved all of her children and family deeply, and would go without anything to help a friend in need. She never hesitated to express her love and admiration for her family and friends. Despite her own obstacles, she relished in seeing her children, family, and friends happy.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Matthew Montez, Joseph Villalpando, Alexis Villalpando and Elaina Ruiz; grandson, Joseph Jr.; parents, Joseph Villalpando, Betty Villalpando (Elaine Johnson); siblings, Troy Villalpando, Matthew Villalpando (Joslyn) Villalpando, Amy Villalpando; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday at Maresh Meredith Funeral Home, 803 Main St. The funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5600 Holy Cross Rd. Memorials to the family at www.gofundme.com/cathyvillalpando have been suggested.
