Eileen Margaret Cook, 88, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Ridgewood Care Center. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, April 30, 1927, daughter of the late Ervin and Irma (Nee:Pickel) Noeske.

Eileen was united in marriage on Sept. 9, 1950 to David P. Cook Sr., who preceded her in death Aug. 5, 2003. To this marriage was born a son, Robert C. “Bob” Cook who passed away April 25, 2010. Eileen was employed as an X-ray technician for Dr. Christensen for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church having served as president of the Women’s Organization for two terms, the Stewardship Committee for two terms and as a volunteer of the Neighborhood Center for 15 years. Eileen was an avid bridge player who loved to read mysteries and do crossword puzzles.  She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her grandson, Christopher R. Cook of West Bend; stepson, David (Sue) Cook of Racine; grandchildren, Stephen Cook, Jennifer (Michael) Qualley; great grandchildren, Hannah and Maxwell Cook, Katherine, Jackson, and James Qualley; her brother, Charles (Donna) Noeske of Cedarburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

With Rev. John Bischoff officiating, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Maresh Meredith Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home on Saturday 10  a.m. until time of service. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or Society’s Assets have been suggested.
