Gary D. Fox, 56, passed away unexpectedly, Monday at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Gary was born in Racine, April 2, 1959, son of the late Peter and Lillian (Nee: Poelman) Fox.

Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology and Masters degree in Finance at UW-Parkside. On May 24, 1986, he was united in marriage to Jane Martin. Gary was a member of the Harbor Lite Yacht Club, Deutcher Männer Verein, and Society Automotive Engineers. An avid outdoorsman, Gary enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of thirty years, Jane; his brother, Dan (Dawn) Fox of Racine; mother-in-law, Peggy Martin of Racine; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Mary) Martin of Delafield, James (Kathleen) Martin of Racine; nephews and nieces, Peter Fox, Sean Fox, Erin (Andy) Warmus, Drew and Bryce Martin, Matthew (Karie) Martin, Patrick Martin; great nieces and nephews, Kenzie, Callan, Kaden, and Ella; special friend, Scott Floyd who was like a brother to him; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Martin; and stepmother, Carol Hall Fox.

A memorial service will be held at noon Monday at the Maresh-Meridth Funeral Home, 803 Main St. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at noon  Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Junior Masters have been suggested.
