After leaving the Navy he returned home to Racine to raise his family. He was employed at Gorton Machine, Kearney Trecker and retired from DTI.

Jim always enjoyed “tinkering” and his many hobbies. Jim loved connecting with people throughout the world on his Amateur “Ham” radio and is still searching for a problem he can’t fix. More than anything, Jim cherished the time spent with his family.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Kenwood Keyes for their loving and compassionate care.
