Patricia L. Green, 86, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday.
Born in Racine, Dec. 4, 1929, Patricia was the daughter of the late Marion “Peggy” (Nee: Schrock) and Walter Klema. She was a lifelong resident of Racine.

Patricia graduated from William Horlick High School in 1948. She married Warren Green on May 22, 1954 at Second Presbyterian Church. They were happily married for 62 years. She worked for the Loom of Denmark, Robert LaPour and Southeastern Wisconsin Medical and Social Services. She also spent many years catering with her Aunt Violet. A longtime and faithful member of Second Presbyterian Church, Patricia belonged to the Ladies Guild and the Deacons. Much of her time was spent doing church activities, including volunteering for the food pantry and meal programs.
Patricia was a member of her sewing club which started in high school with 12 girls. Seven members are still living. Pat and Warren loved to travel, attend plays, entertain, play cards and spend time with friends. She loved being a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Warren; her three daughters Barbara (Chuck) Jopke, Jennifer (Dennis) Ashley, Karen (Mark) Spangenberg; grandchildren, Brandon & Allison Jopke, Chad (Briana King) and Dustin (Maci Watrud) Ashley, Chris (Adrienne), Tommy (Emily Neave) and Jeff (fiancé Emily Leskowicz) Spangenberg; great-granddaughter, Baylee Spangenberg; brother-in-law, David Pfeilstifter; sister-in-law, Beatrice Klema; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Jopke; brother, James Klema; sister-in-laws, Jane Pfeilstifter and Marion Green.
Funeral details for Patricia Green
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Second Presbyterian Church, 1400 Kingston Avenue, with Rev. Alan McAlister officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 4 until 7 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to Second Presbyterian Church, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society have been suggested.
