Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia A. Michel, age 86, passed away Monday at her residence.  Patricia was born in Racine, July 9, 1930, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Nee:  Heimes) Lui.

An excellent cook, Patricia was employed at several Racine restaurants including:  Guido’s, Giovanni’s, Benny’s and last employed at Villa St. Anna.  She also enjoyed knitting, gardening, puzzles, and tending to her home.  More than anything she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Debbie Ulinski, Margaret Kirchmeier, Cynthia Ames, Gina (Rian) Markham; her adopted son, Paul Chernouski; her ten grandchildren, James (Courtney) Ulinski, Jacqueline (Steve) Dykstra, Angelina (Matthew) Scheck, Jeremy (Maria) Kirchmeier, Michael (Karin) Kirchmeier, Zachary (Aubry) Ames, Alexander (Erica) Ames, Brandon (Kirsti) Modrow, Molly (Eric Gage) Stuhr, Madison Markham; many great-grandchildren; twin brother, Donald J. Lui; brother, Richard J. Lui; sister, Lorrie Jaklich; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, John; sister, Mary Lui; sisters-in-law, Joanie and Teresa Lui; and nephew, Donald Lui Jr.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Maresh – Meredith &  Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main Street.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
