Phillip Louis Meyers, age 74, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Ridgewood Care Center. He was born in Racine, November 27, 1941, son of the late William and Irene (Nee: Pfeiffer) Meyers. Phil graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1961”. On December 1, 1979, he was united in marriage to Marie Peklo who preceded him in death in 1998. Phil was employed by J.I. Case Co for 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He was a Packers and Brewers fan who enjoyed playing cards and cribbage. He will be dearly missed. Surviving are his brothers, Thomas (Jean) Meyers, William (Barbara) Meyers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia (Joseph) Rickert. Funeral service times and dates are pending. A special thank you to his caregivers at Ridgewood Health Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.
