Richard R. Nauman, 83, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Richard was born in Racine, March 13, 1932, son of the late Royce and Olga (Nee: Wick) Nauman.

He proudly served in the United State Navy. On December 4, 1954 he was united in marriage to Jane J. Johnson. He was employed by Superior Coffee Company for thirty-seven years, retiring in March of 1997. Richard enjoyed working, hunting and reading. An avid hunter, he especially enjoyed his goose hunting trip to Canada with his son, Rick and nephew, Bob Johnson.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years, Jane; his children, Sandra Barz of Racine, Rick Nauman of Madison; his three grandchildren, Tracy (Ronald) Tatum, April (Carey) Goodwin, Brooks Barz; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Anger of Racine; brother-in-law, Harold (Ricie) Johnson of Eagle River; other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Kevin Barz; and his brother, Royce Nauman.

Private funeral services were held with interment at West Lawn Memorial Park. A special thank you to his niece, Joan Feest, Dr. Rayani and staff at Wheaton Franciscan for their loving and compassionate care.
