Stanley Scopel, age 74, passed away Tuesday, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. Stanley was born January 16, 1942, son of the late Michael and Mekala Scopel. He was a member of the Kimissis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church.
Survivors include his son, Michael; his sister and brother-in-law, Angie (Chuck) Maragos; special companion, Doreen Theune; other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the Kimissis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 1335 South Green Bay Road, with Rev. Athanasios C. Pieri officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
