A 33-year-old woman is dead and two people were injured following a three-vehicle crash that happened at 11:35 a.m. in the 100 block of Main St. Monday morning, according to officials with the Racine Police Department.

The crash, which is still under investigation, involved two cars and a large box truck.

The woman, was found by rescue personnel inside one of the vehicles, was unresponsive. A second woman, who was in the same car as the 33-year-old woman, was critically injured. Both women were taken to Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints emergency room where the 33-year-old woman later died.

A male also received minor injuries in the accident.
