Opinion:  This could be the most important 4 minutes you will have this year.  Oh, and this could effect every citizen in Mount Pleasant as well as every other town, village and city of Wisconsin.  Let me explain. Steve Kells lives on Hwy V in Mount Pleasant.  He gave one heck of a commentary to the Trustees of the Village of Mount Pleasant on Monday, January 11, 2016.  In that short span of 4 minutes he understood why this is such an issue.  You can not tax someone in one municipality and expect that to benefit a totally different municipality.  Please take a few minutes and listen to this. If the folks on Hwy V lose this one, you can bet there are a ton of other towns, villages and cities all looking at this case because it would be new precedent that allows, say, one village to tax someone or a business but benefit someone of a different city, for example.  This is totally nuts but that is what is happening here.  If you are a citizen of Mt. Pleasant this could effect you too.  If they can do it to Hwy V, what is stopping them to doing it to you too? This is also why other people are running in the April election.  Become more involved.  At least in this one election.  It’s dang important.
