By day, James Hauser is an assistant vice president at Tri-City National Bank, helping local business owners navigate the complicated waters of investment and growth. But, in his free time, Hauser and his Enough Stupid production company is using local actors and crew members to make movies based right here in Southeast Wisconsin.
While he jokes that at least one of his films isn’t all that good, he actually calls it, “pretty awful,” he said he learned a lot, and the next two movies were much better. The Mummerman, for example, is the story of a man who makes his own costume to become a superhero.
“They’re all comedies,” Hauser pointed out.
The actors who appear in his films are friends he met over a decade ago while part of an improv troupe in Chicago,
