Richmond Painting of Racine will pick up brushes this spring to help a family or a non-profit in need of some fresh coats of paint.

The company is donating $3,000 worth of painting through a contest they’re running from Feb. 1 to April 30. Nominations are accepted through the “Paint It Forward” link under the “Our Story” tab on the Richmond Painting website.

Matt Richmond sat down with Racine County Eye Tuesday to explain that he wants to help a needy family or non-profit organization who can’t afford a paint job – either interior, exterior, or both – but could really use a hand.

“Whenever we can give back to our community, we will,” he said. “Paint It Forward is a national program, and we’re proud to be part of it.”

Requirements for being considered include:

  • Racine County residents
  • Deadline is April 30
  • Upload at least three (3) photos of where the paint job is needed

“We are dedicated to ensuring that each and every one of our clients gets the best service and results, each and every time. So you can rest assured that whoever you nominate will be in the running for the finest in interior or exterior painting for their residential or non-profit space,” the page reads.
