Downtown drivers will need to be on the lookout over the next couple of weeks while heavy trucks haul stuff away from the Pershing Park Small Boat Launch. Work is scheduled to begin Saturday and is expected to last two weeks, a written release from the County Executive’s office reads. Heavy dump trucks will take the expected 12,000 cubic yards of dredged spoil to Belle City Marina. Dredge traffic will travel from Pershing Park along Lake Avenue to Gaslight Drive to Belle Harbor. Empty trucks will travel 2nd Street to Wisconsin Avenue to 7th Street to Lake Avenue and then to the Pershing Park Boat Launch via 6th Street.
