The Moving Wall traveling exhibit of the Vietnam Memorial opened Friday with a moving ceremony at Pritchard Park on Ohio Street.

The wall is a smaller version of the permanent display in Washington, D.C. and will stay in Racine untiluntil 3:30 p.m Monday afternoon. It will be available for anyone to visit 24 hours a day and is presented by Vietnam Veterans Chapter 767 and Real Racine.

There are 58,307 names on the wall, and every one of them appears on the Moving Wall as well.

Local photographer Christina Mueller captured some of the moments in these photos.
