Racine County Sheriff’s deputies say they found over 200 grams of marijuana in the car of a man wanted for questioning for a shooting in Pleasant Prairie.
According to a written release from RCSD, deputies were alerted to keep a lookout for an Attempt to Locate from Pleasant Prairie for a shooting incident in that village.
Deputies spotted the vehicle in question at 3:38 a.m. Sunday and initiated a traffic stop with K9 Murphy. After the dog alerted on the car, deputies found 202.3 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, packaging materials, pills and packages of synthetic marijuana, the release continues.
The lone occupant of the car was a 33-year-old man from Madison who is now in the Racine County Jail facing charges of possession with intent to deliver THC, Possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of synthetic THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
