Mount Pleasant police are asking for the public’s help finding the driver of a car who may have caused a motorcycle accident Thursday.
Ian P. Duensing, 26, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, was on his motorcycle traveling north in the 2400 block of Highway 32 Thursday when someone driving a white, 4-door vehicle cut him off. Duensing hit the curb and was ejected from the seat of his bike. He was found face down on the sidewalk near 25th Street with severe facial injuries.
Crews from South Shore Fire Department responded to the scene and determined Duensing would be better off with Flight for Life. He was transported to Froedtert Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers with the Mount Pleasant police crash investigation unit continues to look into the incident. Duensing’s condition was unknown as of Friday night.
