Mount Pleasant police are on the lookout for 2 male suspects who robbed another man at gunpoint of his cell phone.
MPPD Chief Tim Zarzecki confirmed in a press release that a 21-year-old Racine man at 5:51 p.m. Sunday was walking in the alley of 2100 Mead Street when he was approached by two black males. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the man and demanded the man’s property.
Police say the man surrendered his cell phone and the suspects fled north on foot into the City of Racine. The man ran home and called 911 to report the robbery.
The suspects are described as a black male and an Hispanic male.
