Racine Police are searching for a suspected wanted in an armed robbery that happened at 12:42 p.m. Thursday at Rogan’s Shoes, 3520 Rapids Dr., according to a press release by the Racine Police Department.

The suspect came into the store, displayed a weapon and demanded cash from an employee. Once the employee handed over the cash, the suspect fled the scene before police arrived at the store. A number of officers are in the area investigating the crime. No one was injured, but an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Racine Police Investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses or citizens with information are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
