Racine police are looking for the suspects who attempted to break into two apartments in the last two weeks on the city’s south side.
Officers were called Thursday to the Castle Court apartments in the 5600 block Castle Court for a report of an attempted burglary. The resident was home at the time and reported they heard a “pop” at the front door.
Police determined the suspect(s) tried to gain entry to the apartment by using a tool – possibly a crow bar – to pry open the front door. A dead bolt lock prevented the suspect(s) from entering the apartment.
This is the second attempted burglary at the apartment complex in the last two weeks.
