We Energies crews are working on North Main Street to restore power to about 240 customers in North Bay who lost power after a tree branch fell and pulled down utility wires.
Spokesperson Brian Manthey confirmed for Racine County Eye that the power outage started around 4 a.m. and power was expected to be restored by 9 a.m. or shortly thereafter.
“The outage occurred at Main and Lakecrest,” he said in a voicemail. “We expect to have everyone back up by 9 a.m. or soon after.”
Trucks and crews were on Main Street working at 7:50 a.m. clearing the trees and getting the wires back up and operational, Manthey added.
