American Transmission Company LLC, which is owned partly by We Energies, has completed the sale for We Energies subgenerating station for $2.42 million.
Almost $16 million in property changed hands between May 21 through May 25, according to Racine County property transfer records. The transfers do not include sales for the ATC substation on Highway H or Foxconn Technology Group-related projects. But Racine County Eye includes them on our summary list.
Land sold for American Transmission Company electricity substation
The Village of Mount Pleasant sold 33 acres at 4217 Highway H to Waukesha-based American Transmission Company LLC for $2.42 million.
American Transmission Company (ATC) plans to build a $140 million substation on Highway H, just east of where Foxconn plans to build a 20-million square foot manufacturing facility. The project also includes making modifications to the Racine and Elm Road substations. Once built, We Energies will operate the substation.

Foxconn Technology Group-related sales
Foxconn Technology Group plans to build a 20 million-square-foot manufacturing campus in Mount Pleasant to make LCD screens. Expected to generate 10,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent positions, the $10 billion project is the largest economic investment in the state and one of the largest in U.S. history. Over 200 parcels of land are being acquired for the project.

- John Younk, of Racine, sold one acre of land to the Village of Mount Pleasant for $126,000.
- Anna Marie Safransky-Eckelberg, of Batavia Ill, sold 45 acres of land on County Line Road for $2.25 million.
- Travis Spencer sold a one-acre parcel of land and a home at 11016 Braun Road for $735,000.
- Steven Petts sold a one-acre of land and a single-family home to the Village of Mount Pleasant for $485,560.
- Will’s RV Center, 10500 Durand Ave., sold for $312,000.

Holiday Inn Express, previously owned by Bristol-based KM Hotel LLC, sold to Sturtevant-based Elite Hotel LLC for $4.6 million.
