Your contribution is appreciated.

I often get asked: How can I help the Racine County Eye? We are grateful for the interest and the question. We have intentionally chosen not to charge for our news, but wanted to give readers the option to become voluntary monthly subscribers or make a one-time gift. So here’s the deal… We want to continue the policy of remaining the place where all of Racine County — not just those who can pay — can use our quality news and information. And we want to grow. We make most of our revenue from selling premium ads, business directory listings and marketing bundles, but we’ll also be hosting events over the next few months that will give businesses the opportunity to sponsor those events.

Why are we doing this?

We’re in a place where we’d love to hire more journalists and support services to make the Racine County Eye a more comprehensive news source. Soon we’ll be expanding out to Union Grove, our school coverage, and add more hard-hitting exclusive stories. But we can’t do that without the voluntary support from our readers. So if you want to see quality journalism flourish on the Racine County Eye, please consider becoming a monthly subscriber. Or if you’d like to make a one-time donation, we’ve got a way for you to do that as well. No matter what level you choose to support us at… we truly appreciate it. Did we forget to mention this is completely optional???

So here’s what you get if you become a Racine County Eye subscriber

At the platinum level, you’ll be mentioned on a our platinum level subscriber list. You’ll also receive a Racine County Eye pint glass or coffee mug, invite to a special meet & greet and send you one of our special Racine County Eye magnets (which we still have to design). Love what we do?

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund. https://business.facebook.com/donate/1846323118855149/3262802717172659/
