Just over $7 million in property changed hands between Feb. 16 through Feb. 20 in Racine County, according to property transfer records.

Captains Cove Seafood Bar & Grill, 904 S. Sylvania Ave., sold for $725,000. The property was sold through a sheriff’s sale to Texas-based VFC Properties 23 LLC. But the ownership interest was transferred to a VFC Properties, which has the same address as the previous owner, MAKSAL LLC.

The Travel Lodge, 910 S. Sylvania Ave., also sold for $725,000, but online records for the property transfer were not available at publishing time.

Here are the highlights:

  • 13 properties sold for less than $100,000
  • 17 properties sold for more than $100,000, but less than $200,000.
  • Nine properties sold for more than $200,000.
