The Racine Marriott Hotel, 7111 Washington Ave., sold for $9.1 million to Raleigh, N.C.-based CHD Investments, according to a Racine County property transfer records.

According to a story by the BizTimes, CHD Investments plans to put $7 million in upgrades into the hotel.

Of the 31 properties that sold between Nov. 23 through Nov. 25:

  • 11 sold for less that $100,000
  • 10 sold between $100,000 and less than $200,000
  • 10 sold for more than $200,000
