Of the 56 properties that changed hands between Feb. 29 and March 4, a shopping center sold and land was acquired for a development, according to Racine County property transfer records.

Waukesha-based Redmond Company sold the TJ Maxx, 2308 S. Green Bay Rd., to Chicago-based Bonnie Management Corp. and Chicago-based Marc Realty LLC for $12.5 million.

Eagle of Southeastern Wisconsin LLC, which is owned by Nick Margos, bought four residential properties located at 5000 Spring St. and 3228 Alvida Ct. for $1 million. Gup’s First Stop Oil Change, 4815 Spring St., sold to the Wilkomm Company for $570,000 in January. The sale is part of a larger development that includes a gas station, convenience store, car wash and restaurant development at the corner of Highway 31 and Spring Street.

We’re still following up on these stories to find out if the TJ Maxx building was just purchased or the business was sold as well.
