A male suspect entered Douglas Hardware, 20130 Douglas Ave., at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9. The man carried a weapon and demanded cash from the clerk. After the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, about six-foot 10-inches tall, and about 200 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a puffy black coat.
In the second robbery, two male suspects entered the Taqueria Arandas, 1501 Prospect St., at 7:18 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11. Both men showed handguns and demanded cash. Taking an undetermined amount of cash, two two fled the restaurant on foot.
The first described as man that is between five-foot six-inches and five-foot eight-inches tall, and about 160 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black man, about five-foot seven-inches tall, and about 160 pounds. Both men wore masks over their faces.
