For the first time in its 38-year history, runners from Racine swept the top four spots in the Lighthouse Run.

Miguel Garcia and Heidi Ertl crossed the finish line first in the 10-mile race at 54:59 and 1:05:08, respectively.

Ben Gregory and Amanda Johnson took top honors in the 4-mile race at 20:58 and 25:21, respectively.

A total of 459 runners completed the 10-mile race, sponsored by Image Management; 266 were men and 190 were women. The average time it took to complete the full course was just over 91 minutes.

The 4-mile race attracted 608 runners, sponsored by Financial Service Group; 337 were men and 268 were women. Runners took an average of 40 minutes, 21 seconds to cross the finish line.

The Lighthouse Run benefits the various youth programs at the Racine Family YMCA.
