Parents interested in having their children attend school in Racine Unified‘s Montessori program, magnet, charter and choice schools through open enrollment will need to start the process before Jan. 15.

The application process only applies for students attending school outside of their boundary area school. To apply, follow the instructions listed on the Racine Unified School District link. The instructions vary by school or program. Parents who have never logged on to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and need help can contact the enrollment center, the child’s school or follow these instructions.

The school choice enrollment period for the 2017-2018 school year is open until Jan. 15. Once the applications are turned in, students will be chosen in a lottery system. Parents will be notified when the selection has been made.

If chosen for the following programs — Bull Fine Arts Elementary School, Jefferson Lighthouse Elementary School, Red Apple Elementary School, REAL Middle and High School and Walden III Middle and High School, transportation will be provided. However, parentsor guardians who choose any other school that is not their boundary school are responsible for transportation to/from school.

Please visit this website for additional information and requirements for applying to attend one of our magnet, charter or alternative schools.
