Racine Unified is giving parents a new tool to help them monitor their students’ progress in school.
Infinite Campus will be in place this fall, and it’s meant to improve communication between school and home by giving parents real-time access to their students’ records like attendance, grades and test scores.
Faculty and staff will be trained on the software this summer, and parents should expect a letter home with information that gives them access to their children’s RUSD account.
Some of the benefits of using Infinite Campus include parents being able to access student information from anywhere with an Internet connection and communicating with teachers through the Infinite Campus email functionality. Parents will also be able to manage their kids’ lunch accounts through this new software program.
There are apps available for both Apple and Android operating systems.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education.
