Registration for the 2022 Summer Youth Softball is now open through the City of Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS). All skill levels are welcome to join. Registration is open to youth ages 4 to 8.  

Youth Softball leagues are available for the following age groups:

T-ball: 4 – 5 years old

Coach Pitch: 6 – 8 years old

Note that youth are placed in the league associated with their age as of June 1 (ages 4-5) and August 15 (ages 6-8).

How to Register

When registering for 2022 Youth Summer Softball through the City of Racine PRCS, you will receive confirmation of enrollment in the program via email. However, enrollees should note that the PRCS receipt of the registration form and payment does not guarantee placement in the program. In the case that placement does not occur, PRCS staff will arrange the return of payment.

Registration forms are available online. Registration includes team practices, games, and a team t-shirt.

Payment

Fees for registration are:

  • $40 for the city of Racine residents
  • $60 for non-city residents, including:
    • Caledonia, Elmwood Park, Franksville, Mt. Pleasant, North Bay, Sturtevant, Wind Point and other villages/municipalities

Games

Youth softball games are held one night a week. They are held between Monday and Thursday, taking place at Humble Park or at Stewart-McBride Park. Games will begin in late May or early June and run through July.  Nights of play and the number of games scheduled are determined by the number of teams formed. This information is subject to change.
