We received a number of messages asking about a large police presence – including K9 units from multiple jurisdictions – Thursday morning at Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, 6201 Regency West Drive.

There was not a manhunt in progress or fugitive on the run. Instead, K9 officers from Racine, Mount Pleasant and Kenosha participated in training exercises at the store and around the property with the full knowledge and blessing of company owners.

“Great day of training with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, and Kenosha Police Department. We would like to thank the staff at the Mt. Pleasant “Bumper to Bumper” auto parts store for providing us with a great training location today,” the Racine Police K9 Unit posted on their Facebook page.
