A standoff Wednesday night that started as a restraining order violation ended with the suspect in custody. Whether or not there were any injuries was unclear at the time this story posted.
According to scanner reports on the Racine County Scanner Facebook page, police were called around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday to the 1800 block of S. Green Bay Road for a report of a man who broke a window and was armed with a knife.
A few minutes later, police had southbound traffic on Highway 31 blocked during the incident, and an ambulance from South Shore Fire Department was requested at the staging location.
By 9:45, Racine County Scanner was reporting the suspect was in custody.
