Journalism. We believe it should help you live a better life.

That’s why we spend a lot less time on publishing mug shots and a lot more time helping you understand the employment market, figure out how to spend more time with friends and family with our events calendar, and what you can do to help businesses that have opened up. Make no mistake…we aren’t shy. We tackle the big stuff, like COVID and issues around race.

And if you believe in the value of journalism — that it should help, not exploit — please consider becoming a paid member of the Racine County Eye today. We can’t do this work without you.

The RK Amateur Radio Emergency Service supports the local community in case of loss of communications in the event of a disaster. Also, support local events like the Racine Lighthouse run in case of medical situations.

RKARES Racine & Kenosha Amateur Radio Emergency Service Supports the local Government when a disaster happens and communication is lost. We practice often to keep or skills upon passing National Traffic using Voice and digital methods. We conduct weather nets when they are needed and pass our information directly to the Sullivan weather center

RKARES supports local events with communications and advanced digital Wifi for a run, Biking event, etc. We are always looking for ham operators or anyone interested in being a ham operator. We are a 501c3 nonprofit org and would use donations to keep up our equipment.
