Officers with the Racine Police Department are on scene at a one-vehicle rollover crash involving a semi at the intersection of Rapids Drive and Northwestern Avenue.

The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The driver of the semi took the corner too tight and tipped the semi-tractor trailer over. No one was injured, said Angela Furuglyas, a woman who heard the crash.

Furuglyas was at a nearby gas station when she heard the crash. The driver got out of the semi and was not injured.

“I went and checked on the driver to make sure he was okay and let him use my phone to call his work,” she said.

We’ll update the story when we receive more information from the Racine Police Department.
