Rosemarie E. “Rose” Muzenski, 97, passed away on Monday at St. Monica’s Senior Living. She was born in Racine on March 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Nee: Salerno) Valente.
On March 30, 1940 at St. Lucy Catholic Church she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edward “Ed” H. Muzenski. For many years she was employed as a secretary by Moxness Products. Rosemarie was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In her younger years, Rose enjoyed dancing, traveling and golfing. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, playing cards and crafts. More than anything she devoted and cherished time with her family.
Rose will be dearly missed by her loving husband of seventy-eight years, Ed; her daughter, Sandy (Joe) Domanik of Franklin; her grandchildren, Michael Domanik of Colorado, Nicole (Brad) Wagner of Brookfield; her great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ava, and Ryan Wagner; two sisters, Mary (Ray) Stevens, Vilma (the late Jack) Christiansen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary; sisters and brothers, Vera (Mike) James, Peter Valente, Alfred Valente, Valentino (Norma) Valente, Vivian (Carl) Graceffa, and Valeria Peters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Monica’s Chapel. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at St. Monica’s Chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Monica’s Senior Living or to Hospice Alliance have been suggested.
