Surrounded by her loving family, Rosemary Goodwin, 80, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at her residence. Born in Shiloh, AL, September 27, 1936, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Richard and Alva (Nee: Jackson) Hackworth.

She was a longtime faithful member of Greater Grace Temple Church where she enjoyed praying and being a servant for the Lord. A heart of gold, Rosemary was always willing and ready to help anyone in need. She devoted and cherished time caring for family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Angela (Keith) Mundy of Leesville, LA, Maurice (Clarice) Cantrell of Cedar Rapids, IA, Carol (Joseph) Salthouse of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren, Dominic Cantrell, Augustus McKinnie, Andre Allen, Kenneth Cantrell III, Kenisha Cantrell, Jasmine Salthouse, Joshua Salthouse; and her beloved great-grandson, DéVon Cantrell; sister and brothers, Bessie Hackworth, Bishop Jimmy Hackworth, Lilly Warfield, Josephine Black, Superintendant William (Kendra) Hackworth, Geraldine Brye; host of other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Goodwin; her son, Kenneth R. CantrellJr.; brothers, Richard, Robert, Sylvester, James; and sister, Rita Andrew.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greater Grace Temple Church, 522 North Memorial Drive, with Pastor Jerry Cornett officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
