Racine Unified School District’s Aquatic Center opened on Dec. 3, 2021. This is a state-of-the-art 51,000 square foot facility is located at 7567 Washington Ave. In Jan. 2022, the aquatic center opened for open lap swimming. Only about a month after its opening, the facility is already being put to good use, and residents are encouraged to go take advantage of this new health and fitness opportunity.

While the address is on Washington Road, the entrance is around the corner, on Oakes Road. “Our facility is still being updated on navigation apps,” an RUSD spokesperson explained. “The entrance is off of Oakes Rd., just south of Case High School.”
