The Racine Unified School District Aquatic Center is open and the public is invited to visit the 51,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility. RUSD invites the public to attend the center’s first-ever RUSD Aquatic Center Community Day.

The event will take place at the RUSD Aquatic Center located at 7576 Washington Ave. Please enter via Oakes Road. The Center is not far from J.I. Case High School, however, this facility is not just for RUSD students to utilize; it is available for all community members to use.

The Brand New RUSD Aquatic Center

Community members can gather from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and partake in a variety of different events including:

  • free swimming
  • tour the facility
  • register for a monthly open swim membership
  • sign up to receive information about upcoming lessons and classes

There is seating for 800 people in the main pool area. In addition, there are handicap-accessible pools and a large main pool with ten lanes to accommodate all guests. The center also features a 14-foot-dedicated diving well and a 4-lane multipurpose pool.

If you are interested in attending the community day event, please bring your own towel. Coast guard-approved life vests and puddle jumpers will be provided. Water wings are not permitted at the RUSD Aquatic Center.
